Stepping Away to Heal – A Note from Bryn

Dear Friends, Clients, and Community,
I’m writing to share some personal news and update you on an upcoming pause in my hands-on practice.
On September 17th, I’ll be undergoing ankle reconstructive surgery-a long-overdue step toward healing after decades of pushing through pain. It’s time to give this body the care and restoration it’s been asking for, and I’m leaning into the opportunity to rest and rebuild from the ground up.
I’ll be continuing to see clients through early September, and I warmly welcome you to book a session before I step away. Whether you’re seeking support, realignment, or simply a moment to pause and reconnect, I would love to hold space for you before I head into surgery.
Following that, I’ll be off the table for about three months, with plans to return to in-person work in late
December - early January.
That said, I’m not vanishing! I’ll still be checking email, keeping up with social media, and staying in the current of community. I’m also planning to offer one or two online mini-classes during my recovery~4-hour sessions focused on abdominal therapy. These virtual gatherings will be gentle and nourishing, a way to stay connected and engaged while I heal.
This downtime will also give me space to tend to new creative seeds, including the soft beginnings of Lumina Rising Collective, a circle of sacred reconnection, women's wisdom, and voice.
Thank you for being part of this work and this community. Your care, trust, and patience mean more than I can say. I look forward to returning with deeper presence, a steadier step, and new offerings to share.
With gratitude and tenderness,

Bryn Truett-Chavez
